The staff were very helpful and attentive (bringing us a spare toothbrush). The restaurant was gorgeous with the views and the food was delicious. Its a beautiful hotel with a lovely location for a romantic getaway.
I was attending a cousins celebration in Frodsham and the hotel was conveniently nearby. Another cousin and husband also stayed in the hotel and were in the room next to mine, which was even better, although not requested! The room was clean, quiet and just right for the purpose.Thank you.
Quiet relaxing and ecxcellent value
Th Forest hills hotel is set in the countryside the staff were friendly and the room was spotless clean!! The pool was great and the food was fab a great time had by all... Thankyou x
Staff were extremely friendly and poilte on reception. We arrived very early and were allowed to check in regardless which was great. Made use of the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc) which were clean and well maintained. Busy during the afternoon but pool was empty first thing in the morning which was lovely. Food in the restaurant was lovely (had the lamb and it was excellent). Overall a lovely stay.
When we arrived at the hotel we asked to book a table for the restaurant but when we arrived in the evening there was no reservation for us. We were first in there at half 7 and were seated nowhere near the window (part of the reason we booked was because of the view!) We asked to be moved and were seated closer to the window but still not really able to enjoy the view. Thought this was very strange as we were first there.
Staff were very pleasant, food was excellent, and facilities were great.
Enjoyed our stay comfort and service very good, food and portion size also very good ,enjoyed pool and spa.
We attended a party in the Overton suite, and the buffet food was very good.
The fire alarm going off at 3 a. m.!
I liked the level of service provided from check in to check out.
Quiet away from main roads - comfortable
Male restaurant staff were scruffy with their dirty trousers well below waist level and shoes that were dirty and falling apart. Carpets in the entrance and reception area in need of a good clean.
Good facilities close to local amenities excellent value for money
A very kind and nice hotel
The room had been newly refurbished and was very spacious and comfortable. There was a semi seperate part with a sofa and the tv which was a nice touch. The leisure centre was reasonably modern with a good sized swimming pool.
It was noisy in the room ( from the kitchens I think ) and a view of a brick wall and a car park. There is a lack of a proper lounge / bar area. The bar was in the restaurant and the reception area is rather large and soulless . The continental breakfast offering was poor ( eg no fresh fruit , only tinned grapefruit)
The pool and location.
Breakfast service was chaotic: half buffet, half table service. We had to wait nearly 25 mins for some scrambled eggs and toast, long after we had finished our choice from the rest of the buffet. Other tables seemed to be having a similar experience.
Fine- but room 115 (Forest Hills Hotel) rather cold, also wter not very hot.
